As our lead landscaper, James oversaw the work of 2-3 gardeners, and managed sixteen acres of formal gardens and eight acres of natural hillside. He also oversaw and personally maintained an 11,000 sq. ft. manicured lawn, which serves as a magnificent setting for our wedding couples and guests. A great rosarian, James installed dozens of shrubs and climbing roses throughout the property, and installed fragrant perennials, an herb garden, fruit trees, and a garden of dinner plate dahlias, which provide a full summer of non-stop blooms used in arrangements throughout the Club.
